One more comment on this...
As far as I can tell, there is no way to add a carbon view as a subview
of a cocoa window. I've tried several totally undocumented methods, but
nothing works. So all cocoa audio apps will have to present their
AudioUnit editors in separate windows for now.
I think I'll put in a bug on this... we really need a cocoa view class
that can be used to host a carbon view. Or an -initWithHIViewRef:
method for NSView, like the -initWithWindowRef: for NSWindow.
