Hi,

some AUs will need compatibility with the other format (fxb, fxp)...

I will probably report my data in a chunk that is identical to the VST-version's getChunk/setChunk technique (which we havn't implemented, yet, but will do). Parameter tags will be used equally, too (for existing automation data).

For the musician it will be essential to be able to easily transfer their presets from MacOS 9 to the AU-side.

Just a shy thought I think should be worth considering in host convenience design...
