We sent the invitation mail to more than 70 plugin developers, including
Arboretum. I am sorry that it did not reach you and possibly others.
This is the invitation mail:
"Dear Developer,
Logic Platinum 5.3.0 for Mac OS X has been released! For more information
please read:
http://www.emagic.de/english/news/index.html
Logic Platinum for Mac OS X
1. already supports "Core MIDI" to access MIDI interfaces
2. already supports "Core Audio" to access Audio hardware
3. will support "Audio Units" very soon to access DSP plugins.
We would like to encourage all developers to support the above standards.
With Mac OS X we now have a great opportunity to build a system where
hardware and software can be easily combined by the user and where all
components work together.
Regarding Core MIDI and Core Audio we already see very good results.
Currently we are working intensively on Audio Units in Logic. If you are a
DSP plug-in developer you will probably be interested to receive such a
version as soon as possible. If this is the case please contact us.
Furthermore we have free packages of Logic Platinum available for
dedicated developers.
Our contact is: email@hidden
Best regards,
Gerhard Lengeling"
