Once you've gotten over the disk image hurdle, inside an installer .pkg is a .pax (or .pax.gz?) archive which I believe should be backwardly compatible with 10.1. man pax.

Hi,

I don't know what the use of this would actually be ;)

The docs are all HTML, so should be no problem to run on PC. The examples however come in ProjectBuilder flavour for the project files, code is of course .hpp, .cpp, .java.

The Disc Image of CASDK can be mounted as a virtual disc on any Mac, but the installer package inside will only open up in Jaguar / MacOS X 10.2. - The easiest way to get the docs should be asking someone who owns a 10.2 running Mac (i.e. your local dealer), install the stuff (you might need the DeveloperTools, too) and take the /Developer/Documentation/CoreAudio/ Folder back home.

You could also ask someone to send them to you, but I don't know what the 4.4 MB will look like after zipping.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Hi all,

Does anyone know if I can download Core Audio documentation from somewhere
in a PC friendly format? Core Audio SDK is stored in the *.dmg format, which
I believe is an Apple disk image format and which I don't know how to
convert into anything sensible on a PC... Can somebody help?

Thanks,
/Mikhail
