Developing a n mono non-interleaved streams based driver

Hi,

We are developing an audio driver that show n mono non-interleaved
streams and a fixed size buffer to client applications.
For now this driver only works with a few application like Ableton,
DSP-Quattro X.. and a lot more actually do not work with it.
It's also now working with iTune or QuickTime player.

I guess all CoreAudio applications are supposed to adapt to the way
audio drivers manage their internal streams and that for efficiency
reasons the driver does not have to deal with several stream format and
has better to show it's native way of working.

Are iTune or QuickTime player supposed to work with this kind of driver?
Is there any issue in using this kind of stream format in a driver?

Thanks

Best regards

Stepohane letz
