I am very confused
We don't install any binaries or system headers in our SDK - all of the
installation is just done in the /Developer directory
We also don't have anything in the SDK that updates drivers (the
phantom driver comes from the kernel guys, not us)
I can't see how this could be the problem - what else have you
installed recently?

So is it just me, or has anyone noticed that installing the April 2003
CoreAudio SDK update breaks every CoreAudio driver including the
Phantom sample?
Installing it seems to make numerous header file changes but leaves
IOAudioFamily.kext identical, which means that things seem to break
silently.
Our CoreAudio driver that worked without it fails silently (Daisy does
not display it) and it appears that even the Phantom sample, when
kext-loaded, will not show up in Daisy.
Has anyone seen this problem? It appears that now I've got to try to
track down every affected header files and uninstall them.
This is also the culmination of a nearly two-week-long "why won't my
damned project work anymore" bug hunt which centered mostly on
suspicion of our build process and CVS server, which now appear to be
blameless.
