Thanks for the response. I had done an upgrade from the previous
version. It apparently had some problems. I deleted "/Developer" and
reinstalled Xcode and everything seems to be working now.

GetSimpleName is a method of CAStreamBasicDescription. Since you
couldn't find it, this probably means that somehow, the HALLab project
is picking up an old version of the PublicUtility code. This means
that there's something screwy about your system that has left you with
an out of date SDK.
I'm not sure how this could happen on a clean install of 10.3.x other
than if you installed one of our old SDKs on top of what the Panther
installer put on your disk. I suppose it might happen with an upgrade
install from an older system, but I don't know.
