So you define something like kAudioUnitScope_Private and implement
your private Parameters just like the Globals?
Or is it just that GetParameterList has to be modified to only report
the "public" parameters while staying silent about the "private" ones?
It should just report the public ones of course...
Of course, if you have something meaningful for that parameter to
report and want to see it displayed, you can publish it as a read only
parameter - we're thinking of revving the AUGenericView to update the
values of the read only parameters as they change.

I think this is much more versatile than the Readable/Writable stuff
we had some time ago.
