So you define something like kAudioUnitScope_Private and implement your private Parameters just like the Globals?

Or is it just that GetParameterList has to be modified to only report the "public" parameters while staying silent about the "private" ones?

I think this is much more versatile than the Readable/Writable stuff we had some time ago.
