AU, Rax, multiple windows

  • Subject: AU, Rax, multiple windows

Quick and simple question.

The Rax application allows the user to spawn multiple instances of the
editor window for a given AU. Each time you hit the Edit button, a new view
will be created for the synth, even if one is already open.

Is this considered legal and desirable behaviour from a host? Neither
Synthtest nor Logic allows you to do this, and I can see it causing some
headaches with developers from the point of view of keeping multiple
editors synchronous with the plug.

Regards,
Angus.
