And thanks for your answer. I have found the problem now. I had 2 variables
with the same name, one of them defined as global. A little human error ;-)
My mistake... (as usual) Everything works fine now.

You shouldn't need to do anything differently. I've been using CoreMIDI
with Cocoa for more than a year without having any problems like that.
Try making a simple little test app that sends a note event when a button
is pressed. If that doesn't work, ask again...
