ANN: Objective-C interface to CoreMIDI

Yes, I know, I'm posting two announcements in as many days, but I think a lot of people will find this stuff useful.

The PYMIDI Framework 1.0 (including source) is now available for download from http://pete.yandell.com/software/

The source to MIDI Patchbay 1.0 which uses the framework extensively is also available if you're after some good sample code.

From the web site:

The PYMIDI Framework provides a set of classes and utility functions for communicating via MIDI, both with physical devices (MIDI interfaces, MIDI controllers, etc.) and with other MIDI software.

It provides a nice Objective-C interface to the basics of CoreMIDI while still allowing you to access the underlying CoreMIDI objects for advanced stuff.

It makes a couple of normally difficult things very easy: generating good human readable endpoint names, saving references to endpoints in files, etc.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this as I've primarily written it for my own use and haven't tested it extensively outside a couple of my own applications. I'm happy to work with people to fix bugs and add functionality for different applications.
