AU rendering...

  • Subject: AU rendering...

Hello,

I know I more or less asked this before, but after looking through the short discussion on it I didn't quite see a solution (maybe I didn't understand).

I'd really like to know if there is a way to get an AudioUnit to render inline, not requiring a callback - like how AudioConverter provides this.

I noticed, while perusing through some of the AU sample code, there is a function ::Process, part of the AUKernelBase. This looks to do what I'd like, but I have no idea how to call it (if it's even possible to call it from an app).

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
