I can't seem to solve an issue with the V1 stereo mixer unit,
I wonder if anyone can suggest a solution...
I've got multiple DLS synth units going to different channels of
a stereo mixer, which is in turn connected to default output.
I've removed all other units in the chain to try and further isolate
the problem. The graph containing these units is used by a
MusicSequence.
The issue is that the notes playing back through the sequence-owned
graph (and mixer) are much quieter than notes of the same
velocity played directly through a "live" DLSSynth unit connected to
a default output unit instance. I use the latter for realtime playback
as
notes are being recorded to the sequence, but when the sequence is
then played back everything seems much quieter.
I have tried setting the music-device volume for all sequence devices
to the maximum (40.0), the mixer-track-volume to maximum (1.0), and
both the output volume in the playback graph to the maximum (1.0).
None of this makes the sequenced notes play back at full volume,
especially
when compared to sending notes to the non-sequence-owned/non-mixed
DLS synth.
Thanks for any help with this,
Christopher
