I've a question as there was some discussion about this a while ago
and I think it was resolved but wanted to check...
There were concerns about using AU Views with windows where
compositing is on (some comments about mixing controls and HIViews)...
Is that still a problem for anyone? ie. if host apps were to have the
windows for the AU with compositing on, is that going to cause any
problems... Also - is this actually a preferred choice (compositing)
or not?

Last time I've checked, it was a problem for most of the AU currently
available (GUI crash or don't work at all or have major problems).
But if you ask me if I prefer compositing : YEES
