Folks,
no-one said they wouldn't support it anymore. Fact is, it's an Emagic
thing, not anything CoreAudio group does. As I'm pretty sure, Niko
currently suffers from jet lag, because he'll be on WWDC. (Otherwise
I'm pretty sure to meet him today)
So, give him a chance to comment, but be patient until after WWDC.
Cheers,
;) Urs

This is the first I've heard that the VST-AU SDK is no longer being
supported. If this is true then it is VERY annoying. After spending a
month getting my VST plugin working with the SDK because it initially
seemed the easiest route I feel like I've been sucked into producing a
'quick-release' AU to support the platform, only to now go and have to
do the hard work of producing a 'real' one.
If it is not being supported I suggest it be cleaned up with all
current known fixes then officially released as the final version so
we can use it as a starting point to do the tedious job of producing a
AU plugin not dependent on this SDK.
One other thing, if Apple/Emagic is no longer supporting the SDK:
if you send me the fixes for the problems you described in
your original message (at least for problem number 1), I'd be
glad to host the updated SDK on my web site.
