Ok everybody,
first of all, I want to apologize for the shortcomings of the VST to
Audio Unit SDK. We published it in a time where there were not many
Audio Unit hosts out there. We had a discussion on that issue on the
audio feedback session of the WWDC and I gave the following statement
there: We will fix all the known bugs in the SDK shortly. So all those
people who did not modify the original SDK should just be able to
replace it with the new one. Unfortunately I have the feeling that a
vast majority of you has made massive modifications to the SDK code
which makes it difficult for them to migrate to the new SDK. In this
case it would sometimes make more sense to integrate the bug fixes by
hand. I will mark the fixes in the SDK in a way that makes it easy to
extract them. So I hope everyone of you will find a not to painful way
to fix their Audio Units.
