Musicdevice Audiounit, quick and dirty

What would be the easiest and dirtiest way to implement an Audiounit to work with Logic as an audio instrument? Basically, at this point I don't need any midi control or anything like that, I would just like to be able to insert my synth onto Logic's audio instrument slot and make it immediately output sound...Well yeah, I'm a total beginner with all this but yet I managed to implement the synth as a Vst-instrument and in that case all that sufficed was a simple call to a function IsSynth();, after that Logic 4.8.1 regognized it as an audio instrument and made sound...
