Fast Pythagorus routine for audio calculations?

  • Subject: Fast Pythagorus routine for audio calculations?

I'm calculating spectrum amplitudes from the result of a complex FFT. ( sqrt(re^2 + im^2) )
Does anyone know of any optimized code or libs for doing this across large, 8192+, arrays?

Are there any such utility routines in CoreAudio?

Thanks

Steve
