Hi Folks,
Has anyone ever tried to use the debugging versions of the system
frameworks? I have been playing around with it in CW 8.2 and I don't seem to
be able to link to anything except the normal version of the frameworks. I
figured out that you can click on the area next to the version of the file
you want to link to under the link icon in the Frameworks Tab, but if I
select anything other than the normal library, I get link errors. To keep
this on topic, for example, if I try to link my app to the CoreAudio_debug
library in the CoreAudio Framework, I get an error:
Link Error : dylib AudioToolbox prebound to dylib CoreAudio
project currently using dylib CoreAudio_debug
dylib usage must be the same
Unfortunately, there is not an AudioToolbox_debug library available. Similar
things happen if I try to use Carbon_debug (except there are more dependent
libraries, and most of them do have _debug version, but I can't figure out
how to select the debug version for all the carbon sub-frameworks; Quicktime
is also linked to Carbon and does not have a _debug version).
So, has anyone done this? Any tricks? Is it even possible? Any input
appreciated....
Best regards,
