Any new Direct Monitoring Developments?

  • Subject: Any new Direct Monitoring Developments?

Hi,

I posed this question last July and Bill Stewart
responded that the CA team was working on solultions.
Just wondering if there have been any developments
since then.

The Question:

When can we expect to see a Core Audio implementation
of VST-style Hardware Direct Monitoring (IE, a
simulation of the way tape machines provide
zero-latency monitoring of tracks for overdubbing)?
I'm a musician currently stuck using Nuendo w/ OS9
because of the lack of DM in Core Audio.

Thanks,
Eric Krauter
