Really? I've been tinkering with AudioUnitHosting and SynthTest with
compositing enabled, also metal and non-metal, and the Generic View works
fine so far as I've seen, except for the new level meter controls (in
Apple's AUMultiBandCompressor, AUDynamicsProcessor, and AUPeakLimiter)
which show up in the wrong places. I know that Peak 4 has been using
metal windows for generic view AU editors all along, too. Maybe you are
using an out of date version?
