Hi Robert,

You can find the settings in Home/Library/Preferences/By Host/com.apple.midi.xxxxxxx.plist

If you're writing a driver, it's easy to change the settings that show up in Audio MIDI Setup
using MIDIObjectSetStringProperty() and the keys defined in MIDIServices.h

If you'd like any code snippets, please feel free to mail me off-list.

Cheers,
Ben.

Is there a defined mechanism in place to retain the settings made in the Audio MIDI setup application across machine boots or is it up to the specific driver? (e.g source setting and format setting)

Thanks,
Rob
