[ANN] OMS for OS X - MidiBridge9X

For any who are interested in taking a look, you can now download MidiBridge9X, a combo OMS Driver/Application that allows OMS applications running under Classic to communicate with CoreMidi devices.

I created this so that the large number of legacy applications out there that will never be ported could be run under Classic and still have MIDI input and output.

Some of the programs that work with MidiBridge9X:

Finale 2003
Band-in-a-Box
Nightingale
Reason
Applications created with MAX

The one application that doesn't work right now, which many people want, is Vision. Unfortunately, the OMS Time Manager doesn't seem to work under Classic, and so the clock never ticks when you press the "play" button. I'm looking into this...

You can all now download the beta/demo

This version has a 15 minute time out. I'm going to come up with some kind of registration scheme so that I can remove this.

Best Wishes,
Mark Coniglio
