Airport Express / AirTunes - can it be used by other apps?

  • Subject: Airport Express / AirTunes - can it be used by other apps?

Here's a question... Is there a way, or will there be a way, for other
applications than iTunes to stream audio to an Airport Express base station?
I'd love to use this functionality in my DJ application to stream the
amplifier output to an amp at the other end of the room, wirelessly, without
the need for a separate audio device :-)

Any thoughts?

Dave Addey.
