Yes, all kinds of things completely disappeared from the new coreaudio.pdf,
as I recall. I take it it was a completely separate documentation effort.
Sure would be nice if someone would take a few hours and integrate the two.
Otherwise we just end up trying to guess which of the old things are still
applicable.
