There was just a thread similar to this, you may want to check the
archives. In short, top is a completely unreliable way to test this and
also realize that your different hosts may use different porcessing frame
sizes (very significant to CPU usage) and perhaps other factors that
change things. You need to normalize your tests before you can tell if
there is a problem...
