Core Audio SDK 1.3.1 sample code - requirements?

Hello all.
I've tried to compile CASDK examplese, AudioFileTools. I liked this
high-level wrappers, it makes very easy to record sound and to convert sound
files now.
I have a couple questions though.

1) Can this sample code be compiled under Jaguar/Project Builder, or under
Xcode using 10.2.8 SDK? If yes - could anyone please explain me what to do?
Currently I am using Xcode/ 10.3.4, and have to reboot to Jaguar to ensure
compartability and then back to Panther to make changes.

2) I have found what compiled AudioFileTools could not work under MacOS X
10.2. I understand what 10.2 lucks some AudioUnits functionality, so I've
updated testing system to 10.2.8 and QuickTime 6.5.1. This allow samples to
work, but I need to know what is exact minimum requirements for this
binaries to run. Could anyone please help me, I just hate the idea to
redownload all Jaguar updates and all QuickTimes since 6.0, and to install
it one-by-one to test.

Thanks in advance.
