Newbie question

Have been trying to crossdevelop the SampleEffectUnit example
on 10.3.3 for 1.2.8. It just results in a long list of errors
indicating that the include files are inconsistent somehow.

Is there some special trick to crossdevelopment of AudioUnits
or is the SampleEffectUnit impossible to crossdevelop?
