If you are going to switch to Carbon/C++, you can use my free augui SDK.
It has been developped mainly for AudioUnits GUI but the control
classes are standard HIViews that can be used in any Carbon
application and you can use InterfaceBuilder for building your GUI.
Just add only the "Controls" and "HiFramework" folders to your
projects, register the controls you need.
You'll find knobs, sliders, popup, edit text fields... and new controls
are quite easy to write.

The CVS is much more up-to-date than the downloadable archive.

Hi ALL,
I’d like to start writing an audio app and amwondering if there are
some places where I can find tutorials on how to createGUI controls.
I have done development in Java, mainly in the backend sofar and am
not familiar on how to create those cool GUIs that many plugins have.
Any help, pointers would be welcome.
Thanks
Laurent
