more latency numbers

Somebody was asking for more specifics about the latency numbers on the Windows side:

A friend was kind enough to check monitoring latency using an RME Multiface/Cardbus, (same thing John and I use) on a Windows machine.

<x-tad-bigger>
XP2000, Win2k, Athlon
@44.1khz with the logic sample buffer at 64 total monitoring latency = 190 samples

Which is basically close enough to the measured latency in OS9 that differences could well be simply measuring error.:
</x-tad-bigger>

OS 9 (ASIO):
Logic 6.1.0 monitoring latency - 192 samples

But of course vastly different than:

OS X (CoreAudio):
Logic 6.3.2 monitoring latency - 322 samples

I do hope more than anything that bill is right and this is something that RME actually can fix because it would put an RME/Logic system with nodes right in a class with a PT system in almost every meaningful way in terms of performance.
