This sounds to me like a bug in this view - You can check this with
Performer (or AU Hosting in the SDK) - as Peformer is using Apple's built-in
Carbon Generic View (which does listen for these events) - in AU Hosting you
flick a switch to just not load custom views (not quite flick, but its not
too difficult)
