Basic Help: Setting playback time in CoreAudio Examples

  • Subject: Basic Help: Setting playback time in CoreAudio Examples

Hi: I'm building a more powerful player for audio files, and I need to be able to play different formats (Mp3, AAC, etc) and be able to jump to particular parts of an audio file (let's say a precise time), and also be able to know the playback time of the current played sample.

I've been working with QTSoundFilePlayer (a project I've found somewhere) and I'm able to do everything, but then I cannot connect the output to a AUEffect (Equalizer, for example). This is also a requirement for my project.

It seems QTSFP is in AU v1, and I cannot connect with the included methods to another audiounit than the default output.

I've been looking for a solution for more than two month, but I don't have too much time for "researching" how to do.
Is there anyone with a basic project, capable of doing this? Can anyone help me to build this? I know for advanced developers this might seem a joke, so please give me a hand :D

Also, this is part of a commercial project, so in the case someone wants to do give me a serious support for money, please, send me a msg.
