SDK compability question

Hi,

can the CoreAudio 1.4.1 SDK (the one that is included in XCode 2.1) be used together with XCode 2.1 to sucessfully build AUs that work in 10.2.x and 10.3.x (not only 10.3.9) by changing some compiler settings as Jeremy Sagan suggested? I switched the compiler and assembler to gcc 3.3 and send the new AU version to two guys (one using 10.2.6, the other 10.3.8) and BOTH are not able to load the AU, although the 10.3.8 guy can now load the VST version, so Jeremys' suggestion might have worked partially to make the binary itself not dependend on 10.3.9 or 10.4.x anymore, but for the AU stuff it seems that 10.3.9 is still necessary...

Is my only option to use Xcode 2.0 with the CoreAudio 1.3.6 SDK on a Panther system to build backwards compatible AUs?

If anybody build 10.2.x, 10.3.x and 10.4.x compatible AUs from within 10.4.x with XCode 2.1 and the CoreAudo 1.4.1 SDK, please get in touch.

Regards,
Mike
