I just read the whole thread and still don't get it. I *use* the
10.2.8 SDK and I get no compiler errors.
Yes. But it's kinda complicated. But really, it was just covered
in depth, check the thread I mentioned from this week.
Since my AUs work in 10.3.9 and e.g. not in 10.3.8, I guess my
problem is the weak-linking. Any way I can circumvent it?
No, since Xcode 2.0 isn't supported on Panther, only Tiger.
OK. So is using XCode 1.5 + CoreAudio SDK 1.3.6 + 10.2.8 SDK the answer?
Sorry for beeing a pest. I am not really a Mac developer. I just try
to make it work again. The previous versions build on Panther with
XCode 1.5 and the 1.3.5 SDK worked just fine with Jaguar, Panther AND
Tiger and now they only work with Tiger and the latest Panther...
That's kinda frustrating for me and my customers, so I am looking for
a quick fix, ideally something I change in the compiler settings to
make it work again. If that is not easy to accomplish or for some
weird reason not possible at all, I would love to know, so I can set
up the Panther, XCode 1.5, CA SDK 1.3.6 quickly to move on.
Regards,
Mike
