Hi,
I have been playing around with afconvert in the examples and have
gotten it to convert aac files to aiff. But, it refuses to do the reverse
with a fmt? error. This could be because I am not supplying the right file
type (I tried with m4af) or core audio doesn't have a aac encoder? I read on
a previous post that neither coreaudio nor quicktime has an mp3 encoder. Is
there any place I can look to see what encoders I have installed on the
system or is there someplace I can find a default list online? Thanks

Regards
George M.P.
