AudioUnit Framework Version

Is there a simple way to get the SampleAUs/SampleEffect to build? I am still on 10.3.9 and it appears that my AudioUnit.framework doesn't match what the sample code expects. I can find the definitions that are missing in "AUPropertiesPostPantherAdditions.h."

Is there a patch that I am missing? Is there anything short of upgrading to Tiger that fixes this? Would upgrading to Tiger fix it?

I found some references to being related to the order in which I installed quicktime, but these seemed to reference much older versions of quicktime than I have and my attempts to resolve this by reinstalling quicktime didn't help.

Jim
