k8BitOffsetBinaryFormat in ASBD question

  • Subject: k8BitOffsetBinaryFormat in ASBD question

What is the proper representation of k8BitOffsetBinaryFormat in an ASBD? To be honest, I can't remember if k8BitOffsetBinaryFormat is effectively signed bytes +127/-128 or something stranger. A quick web search didn't turn up anything useful.

Mainly, I'm just wondering if the format id should be 'lpcm' or 'raw '.

thanks,
stephen
