FireWire problems with MOTU 828

  • Subject: FireWire problems with MOTU 828

I have recently had a MOTU 828mkII audio interface serviced by MOTU. I just got it back, and while it isn't resetting itself completely (no panel readout whatsoever) as before, it is still hanging up. When I try to reset the sample rate from CueMix software, I get this error message (an alert box with the FireWire logo in yellow--looks like a system message):

MOTU FireWire Audio
An OSErr has occurred. 0-
File I_FWAudio.cpp, line 714

Please tell me what is happening here? I am running OS 10.3.9 on a 1gHz G4 Powerbook with 768K ram.

Thanks in advance,

john wasson
