Whoa, I certainly don't think there is anything in the AU API that is supposed to be global accross all instances of an AU. And, I mean, anything that would prompt a change in any property of an AU would be I would think some change to the state of that specific instance, so it wouldn't make any sense to me for a host to ever have to assume that some change to one instance of an AU's state would affect all other instances. I guess I am just assuming all of this to be the case, since I've never seen it specificly covered in any of the docs, however if my assumption is incorrect, then it is definitely a big problem that something as unexpected as this wouldn't be covered in the docs!
