Hi,
"If you mean auval, I
just noticed that too,
but if you change your build style to Depolyment the collision between
Component and Resource version is resolved."
Sorry about my lameness, but the xcode interface
is so new to me. How do I change the build style to Deployment?
How do you, Audio Units developers test your units? Are you always
compiling and open them in a host?
In case of Logic Express the programs needs to be restarted, thats a
little bit cheeky. Is there a way of testing them more easily?
Cheers,
Nuno Santos

Hi,
I want to start with audio programming in
OSX. The idea is to develop audio units.
Which is the best way of starting?
See the search button on the bottom of the
page. Lots of threads with good information.
I tried to compile the example that comes in
the developer directory
I assume you mean SampleEffect.
and then run it
I assume you mean run auval on it.
buts it fails by the time of au check.
If you mean auval, I just noticed that too,

Component and Resource version is resolved.
If you mean run in a host, many hosts will
not use Audio Units that do not pass validation.
Have fun!
cheers,
Nuno Santos
