These examples were examples for "what could happen", they were not in any way meant to be an approach to justify changing the list of Factory Presets. As I said, I currently don't use Factory Presets at all, so I personally see no sense in using them nor in changing the list :-p


However, it bugs me that a part of the AU spec is still undefined (just like sending Midi...) and some people might see a lot of sense in supporting them, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered ;-)
