Hello,
this is my first post to the list, because I'm a newbie to CoreAudio
Development (but I read since over half a year).
This day I tried to start with the Apple Introduction @
http://developer.apple.com/audio/audiounits.html.
But unfortunately there ist no auval Application in my system. It should
be located in /usr/bin, but isn't.
IMO Logic 7 validates the AUs at startup with auval and Logic 7 (7.0.1,
german) is fully installed at my system.
Another (additional) prob is, that the application "AudioUnitHosting"
doesn't work like assumed.
There is only the AU "ET1" from emagic, but not my new built component,
which I copied in the global components directory where ET1 is stored,
too. And it's not shown like described in the Apple Introduction, but
only with the UI-Look of ET1!?
Maybe this is a sideeffect of the missing auval?
My search in the list archive didn't lead to solutions for the problems.
I would be glad, if sombody can help me.
Thanks in advice
Udo Gillich, Germany
