problem with AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer

Hi,

I'm attempting to use AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer() under 10.4 to convert 32bit float PCM data to AAC. However, I'm getting an error of -50. I know that is a paramErr, so I've double checked the parameters and they appear to be correct (obviously something's wrong). I'm sure I've used it successfully a year or so ago...

Does anyone have any suggestions for common errors or areas to look at?

Thanks.
