Bill,

The ExtendedAudioFile API sounds just right for my needs, I love it when you
guys are handling all the number crunching. I noticed the header file did
not come down with the QT7 update for Panther. Does this indicate that it is
only available for Tiger?

If I want to play a headerless sound file (where the user is prompted for
the data format) should I plan to write a new Audio File Component (AFC), or
can I use the ExtAudioFileWrapAudioFileID by preparing the AudioFileID
manually?

Thanks,

Geoff Hufford
