How to cut silence away from the beginning of output signal

Hi there.

I'm working on an AU plug-in that starts to output the processed signal after about a second. So at the end of processing I get what I want, except for that second of silence.
I've tried with <x-tad-bigger>AudioUnitRenderActionFlags,</x-tad-bigger> setting it to <x-tad-bigger>kAudioUnitRenderAction_OutputIsSilence</x-tad-bigger> until the processed signal is ready for the output: no way.
Any solution?

Thank you. Bye.
Giovanni
