Logic automatically bypassing an effect?

Hi,

I'm having a weird problem with my aufx, when used in
Logic as an insert on a track, the audio is always bypassed (the bypass
is not active in Logic) however I can clearly see that the plugin
rendering is : 1) called, 2) receives the audio correctly, 3) writes
the result in the output buffer list. However the result is always
the dry sound.

The same code is working fine with other host apps, I'm not using
kernels so I overloaded the Render method. I've run out of ideas
of possible causes for now so I'm asking here hoping it ever happened
to anyone else. Any pointers would be appreciated...
