Channels and frames

Hi,

I'm creating some AU's, based on the XCode template (using Carbon).

My current problems are that I need to do the following:

A: Tell the host my channel configuration (for instance mono -> stereo, stereo -> stereo, no inputs -> 8 stereo outputs, etc. etc.). The "no inputs" part can wait a bit if it's complicated, at this point I'm concentrating on effect plug-ins.

B: Be notified about the max buffer size I may receive.

I also have a problem with my mouse. If I change the cursor and move it quickly onto the Logic background it sometimes (often) does not change to the logic cursor. And vice versa, if I move the mouse quickly from the logic background onto my plug-in it may not change the cursor as it should.
I'm listening to the cursor change window event.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Oh, and btw., I know you all mean well, but previously people have pointed me to Cocoa samples. Unfortunately I don't understand the language, so...

Thanks,

Michael Olsen KeyToSound / PhonoXone
