you shouldn't need to touch the resources file if you hvae the CA SDK
1.4.2.
Take an example AU (Say the SampleEffect) and build it
Sym link or copy the resulting .component file into ~/ or / Library/
Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
then do from the command line:
% auval -s aufx
You should see the sample effect component listed and be able to then
validate it:
% auval -v aufx Pass Acme
If you don't get it showing up in the first auval step above, can you
post the build .component to me and I'll take a look at it.
Thanks

Hi,
Its been a while but I am back trying some new plugin dev on MacOS
X 10.4.2. I have the latest Xcode 2.2 seed, the latest CoreAudio
SDK for 10.4.2. Trying out the examples compiles fine but AULab,
Logic, etc... don't see the plugins.
What do I need to change to get these things working?
I have tried the -d TARGET_REZ_MAC_PPC=1 to Other Rez Flags from a
previous XCode 2.1 posting as well and nothing...
Thanks,
m
