By "publish" are you referring to the MMA requirement that (like
SysEx formats) your format for Sequencer-specific Meta-event is
supposed to be published so that other manufacturers can use them?

Or did you mean something less politically charged and more basic
like "by using them, everyone can see our message" <g>.

I'm only asking because other companies have expressed interest in
some "secrecy" regarding their use of MIDI, so perhaps this is
something the MMA should consider supporting.

(Anyone who wants to comment should probably reply to me rather
than the list, since this is not a core-audio topic).
